| Outsourcing Facility
Key members of the management team have relocated to Shanghai China to manage the outsourcing facility (OF) which is situated at Tian Di Software Park. This facility is able to seat 60 developers in a highly secure environment. We have an incredible skill set to draw on which will be provided by Chinasoft from their pool of approximately 5000 staff members. Chinasoft is one of the leading software houses in China. It also has international offices in Seattle and Osaka. Major international clients include Microsoft, HP, IBM, Nokia, etc... With this new ability to rapidly provide resources we can now gear up the local operation to provide the highly skilled resources essential to interact with our customers to specify and design the software requirement packages for the OF to develop. On completion of the development phase these highly skilled specialists will then take over the integration and implementation process. Michael and DawnĄŻs function will be to ensure that this process operates as an integrated whole. In this way we can ensure that our clients receive their software quickly, efficiently and cost effectively. We will continue to do some mission critical development, and some first line maintenance in South Africa, but the main thrust will be to load the development work into the OF. (Continued...) |
